Fearing a backlash, NGOs and activists develop cold feet when it comes to take on the police. There have been numerous incidents wherein activists have faced harassment from the police as they dared to expose loopholes in their system and demanded accountability and transparency. However, this is where we are different. Despite facing a sustained harassment from police for exposing them, Jeetendra continues his work without fear or favors. Be it the number of unsolved cases, vacancies in police department, filing of asset returns by police officials, performance of forensic to improve the conviction rate and several other issues were highlighted in last 10 years.
